General information Extra Curriculur Activities
The Extra Curriculur Activities are accessible to all primary students who attend Amsterdam International Community School. Activities take place at South or SE-Sandcastle Campus. The activities will be held in open spaces like the gym, outside play area and in designated spacious classrooms. The next term will begin on Monday, 7th September: The first activity will start in the week of Monday 14th September and last until the week of Friday 7th February:
- It is only possible to attend a whole course (term).
- The term dates will be listed under each activity.
- Payment is for the full term (Ideal or Credit card)
Refund
It is not possible to receive a refund after you have registered your child(ren) for an extra curriculur activity. We do not offer refunds for missed lessons (due to illness, field trips, etc). Refunds will not be offered if your child(ren) decides they no longer want to participate in the activity. However, the parent can contact the activity leader in exceptional situations regarding the refund. The term dates will be listed under each activity – please make note of the dates.
How does my child get to the activity?
Your child(ren) will be escorted to the Pick-up Point (Primary Hall) where the activity leaders will meet them. Activity leaders will be at the Pick-Up Point at 15:15 or at 12.00 (on Wednesday). At the Pick-Up Point your child(ren) will have time for a snack/lunch before heading to the designated room for their activity. Please be sure to inform your teacher that your child(ren) is/are attending Extra Curriculur Activities. It is also important that you contact the activity leader whenever your child(ren) is/are unable to attend a lesson.
Where do I pick up my child after the lesson?
The activity leaders will escort the students to the Main Entrance. Parents are asked to please wait by the Main Entrance.
Children already going to BSO.
Does your child(ren) already attend BSO at the AICS? The activity leaders will take care of the supervision during relocation between the activities and the BSO. Please inform your BSO which days/times your child(ren) will be participating in Extra Curriculur Activities.
New families
The website will remain accessible throughout the entire term for new families. They can see if there are still spots available for each activity. If they wish to participate, they can contact extracurricularactivities@aics.espritscholen.nl for further assistance with the registration and payment process.
